In an age of uncertainty marked by global unrest, rapid technological advancement, social transformation, and increasing moral ambiguity, Muslims around the world are asking: What is happening to our world? Are we living in the times foretold by the Prophet ﷺ? How should we respond to the shifts we see around us?
Fiqh al-Tahawwulat, translated as The Jurisprudence of Transformations, is a critical yet often overlooked branch of Islamic knowledge that provides believers with a framework to understand historical shifts, sociopolitical upheavals, and eschatological signs.
Rooted in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the understanding of our pious predecessors, this field of study helps us make sense of the transformations that unfold within human civilization—from the rise and fall of empires, to the moral and intellectual crises that shake nations, and to the major and minor signs of the End Times.
This course is designed to equip students with:
- A clear understanding of the concept and scope of Fiqh al-Tahawwulat.
-
The ability to approach eschatological texts with balance, depth, and sound scholarly methodology.
-
A timeline of human history through the Islamic worldview: from the time of the Prophet ﷺ to the contemporary age and beyond.
-
Insight into the false narratives, ideological threats, and societal illusions that confuse and misguide many Muslims today.
-
Practical tools to respond to global changes with intellectual clarity and spiritual stability, without falling into fear, extremism, or apathy.
By studying this science, participants will gain a deep and principled understanding of our place in the world today, and how to respond to trials and transitions with prophetic wisdom. This knowledge is not only intellectually enriching—it is spiritually grounding, offering hope and direction in times of great confusion.
